For fourteen years I was invited to teach at the famous Ghost Ranch Conference Center, Abiquiu Campus, in beautiful Northern
New Mexico, “Georgia O’Keeffe country.”
In October 2009 I decided to “retire” from this venue, but continue to be in local arts organizations.

Here is a list of classes that I offered there in past years:
Silk Painting/Rozome "As You Like It"
This unique class covered basic silk painting
techniques as well as providing the opportunity to learn the more
meditative Japanese “Rozome” process.
Invitation to quilters who wanted to dye their
own fabric and to dyers seeking direction in using their fabric. Participants
dyed 4 yards of cotton, using low immersion
dyes and finished a wall piece by the end of the week.
Instructors: Bunny Bowen and Karena Koeberle-Wells.
Batik on Cotton
Low immersion and direct application of fiber reactive dyes to cotton. This works well with soy wax.
Silk Painting
Beginning and intermediate silk painting using acid dyes with a soy wax resist option.
Rozome
Introduction to the ancient Japanese art of wax resist, this included beeswax/paraffin, beeswax/soy wax, and pure soy wax resist on silk with acid dyes.
